Types of guitar fights

When a novice musician takes the guitar in his hands, one can hardly expect that he will immediately be able to play something really beautiful. The guitar, like any other musical instrument, requires constant practice, especially when it comes to the types of guitar fights. In general, very often training on the guitar begins not with studying notes, but with the practice of the simplest guitar fight.

Types of guitar fight

Of course, it is desirable to start mastering chords in parallel with the guitar fight, but for a start, the usual simplest chord combination is enough. In essence, a guitar fight is a kind of accompaniment, consisting in striking the strings with a mediator or fingers of the right hand. We can safely say that this is also the secret weapon of a guitarist, possession of which in many ways will help to better master a musical instrument.

In this regard, the key point is a blow to the strings, and they come in several forms. You can hit the strings down with the index finger or jam them with the thumb of your right hand. You can also strike up the strings with your thumb. For a newbie these fights are quite enough, but many would also like to master the Spanish techniques, known for their expressiveness. The most common Spanish guitar fight is the rasgeado, which is also called the “fan”.

Spanish and simple fight

Ascending rasgeado is performed from the sixth string to the first and in order to perform such a technique, you need to collect all the fingers, except the big one, under the brush, and then dismiss the fan, each of them running along the strings. In this case, you should get a continuous continuous stream of sound. But the descending rasgadeo is performed from the first to the sixth string and the point is that all the fingers, starting from the little finger, slide from the first string to the sixth and make a continuous sound. In the ring rasgeado combines upward and downward rasgeado, but this is already fighting for more experienced guitarists, and starting to learn the guitar is a simple guitar fight.

A simple fight is striking the strings up and down alternately and to familiarize yourself with it, it is enough to learn how to play it with the index finger of your right hand. Next, the thumb is connected, which strikes the strings downwards, while the index finger strikes upwards. In this case, you can perfectly train your right hand. There is another very common yard fight, which is usually used to accompany songs. It includes six strikes on the strings and the whole difficulty only in clearly and correctly silencing the strings with your thumb when striking down.
